Belize Represented at Human Trafficking Seminar in Washington D.C.

A high level delegation from Belize, including Attorney General Honorable Michael Peyrefitte, Minister of Human Development, Social Transformation & Poverty Alleviation, Honorable Anthony Martinez, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Human Development, Social Transformation & Poverty Alleviation, Ms. Judith Alpuche, visited Washington, D.C. last week.

The objective of the visit was to meet with officials of the Government of the United States of America to address the work that Belize has done, and continues to do, in reference to Human Trafficking. The Belize delegation, along with Ambassador of Belize to the United States of America, H.E. Daniel Gutierez, met with Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein and other senior US Government officials.
